Final Draft: Women's High School Sports

This is the final draft of my magazine. It was a very long process and we came across many bumps in the read, but in the end, I'm very happy with how it turned out.

Post Production 2- Making Our Magazines Match

My partner and I made a few layout changes to make out magazines look better together so they match very nicely side by side. I looked over my magazine one last time just to make sure I got everything I needed to, or didn't miss anything, and I'm very happy with how my magazine turned out. I don't think that there is anything else I would change about it. I'm going to insert the pictures of the final draft soon.

Post Production- Cleaning up The Layout

After getting all my peer review I'm now fixing up my magazine, and editing it. So far I've reorganized my layout to look cleaner and more professional, fixed a few bugs in the lining up of my words, added more page listings on my content page, and fixed the text sizes on my cover page. This is basically everything I was told I needed to fix so I'm pretty close to being finished. I'm still collaborating with my partner Peyton to make sure that our magazines match up decently, and carry the same features through the two magazines. We also changed the title of our magazine from Lady's to Woman's, because we decided that it sounds better, and brings a more empowered feel to the magazine, which is the main point of the magazine.

Peer Review

After presenting my magazine to a few peers, I realized that there was much I needed to touch up on, and change around. I'm going to start off with the positive reviews. Everyone was saying that they liked the color scheme and that it was nice and simple, and there wasn't too much crowded into it. Many said that they really loved my cover page picture, because it related well to the feature article and didn't take away from everything else. A few people said that my content page had a really good format, and they liked the picture and its placement on the page. It was also said that the different title fonts between all the pages looked really nicely together, and the fonts in the feature article paragraph looks really good with the title fonts and colors. They said that my feature articles were broken up really nicely, and easy to read, and they weren't too chunky. Now I'll talk about the helpful criticism that I got. I was told that I need to make the subjects on...
